Subject Description

This seminar examines the changes in official Soviet history that have taken place since Gorbachev instituted glasnost in 1987 and since the collapse of the Soviet Union in December 1991. It considers the development of popular historical consciousness and the changes in historical consciousness brought about by dramatic changes in the nature of the State.

Written work totalling 5000 words.
