Subject Description

Parts of speech, sentence-types and the general syntactic structure of modern Russian. Theoretical topics and practical analysis. By the end of the subject the students should be able to: understand the theory of syntactic analysis and description and its application to Russian; analyse and describe Russian sentences of any complexity.

Assessment

Written work totalling 4000 words.
