Subject Description

Students will be introduced to important cultural, literary and linguistic aspects of the German language. They will be given the opportunity to develop topics of interest within these general areas and will be introduced to a variety of specialist terminology within these general areas. They will endeavour to achieve the level of language competency required for admittance into Advanced German 2 (Core) A and B.

Assessment

Two 1-hour written exams or written work totalling 2000 words.
