Subject Description

Students will acquire a proficiency in basic idiomatic and conversational forms and in written structures of moderate complexity. Students will acquire the ability to interpret messages of an intermediate level of complexity occurring in a variety of audio-visual media and in individual and group spoken forms. They will achieve the level of language competency required for admittance into Advanced German 1 C and D.

Assessment

A 2-hour exam, and a 20-minute oral/aural examination and written work of not more than 1000 words.
