Subject Description

An intensive language course for students who have successfully completed 116-009 Intermediate French A and 116-010 Intermediate French B stressing interactive language use while extending grammatical knowledge and refining oral skills. The subject is to be taken in conjunction with 116-011 Intermediate French C. Students who obtain strong results (H2A or above) in these subjects will be able to enrol in 116-014 French 2: Language I in the following year. Students who pass with lower marks will be able to enrol in 116-013 Post-beginners French IIA.

Assessment

Language class exercises equivalent to 500 words, and a 10-minute oral test, and a 1-hour written test. All students must attend 75% of language classes to be eligible to sit for the final test.
