Two hours of lectures and a 1-hour tutorial per week

Subject Description

Wide reading and discussion of literary texts; advanced linguistic topics. Students on completion of the subject should have developed critical techniques in the reading, analysis and interpretation of literary texts.

Assessment

Two hours of class tests, and written work which may comprise regular exercises totalling 2000 words for 2nd and 3rd-year 3000 words for 4th-year.
