Subject Description | The subject consists of reading literary texts; further work on grammar and syntax; translation exercises; Latin literary criticism. Students on completion of the subject should have read a number of Latin texts in the original and consolidated their knowledge of grammar and syntax. |
Assessment | Two hours of class tests, and written work which may comprise regular exercises totalling 2000 words for 1st, 2nd and 3rd-year 3000 words for 4th-year. |
