Three hours of lectures and a 1-hour tutorial per week

Subject Description

Reading literary and non-literary texts; further work on grammar and syntax; translation exercises, Ancient Greek literary criticism. Students on completion of the subject should have read a number of Ancient Greek texts in the original and consolidated their knowledge of grammar and syntax.

Assessment

Two hours of class tests, and written work which may comprise regular exercises totalling 2000 words for 1st and 2nd-year 3000 words for 4th-year.
