Subject Description

A reading course in Semitic literary texts and inscriptions with particular emphasis on one of the Semitic languages. The focus of this subject is on detailed linguistic analysis and interpretation of selected texts from a wide range of literatures.

Assessment

Two hours of class tests, and regular exercises equivalent to 2000 words for 2nd and 3rd-year 3000 words for 4th-year.
