Three 1-hour lectures and a 1-hour computer laboratory class per week

Subject Description

An introduction to the vocabulary, syntax and accidence of core Western Semitic, with a view to the further study of Biblical Hebrew, Aramaic, Syriac, Ugaritic, Ethiopic and/or other related languages.

Assessment

Written work which may comprise regular exercises totalling 2000 words, and two 1-hour class tests.
