Subject Description

Beginning intermediate course designed for students who have completed Chinese 2A and 2B and who have a vocabulary of approximately 1,500 characters. Students will be exposed to, and have hands-on practice in, a range of prose styles and genres in written Chinese pertinent to commercial and professional communication.

Assessment

A 1-hour examination, and translations, exercises, essays and/or short tests totalling 3000 words.
