Subject Description | The subject consists of two weekly sessions, one devoted to the development of reading skills through daily newspapers and the other to spoken skills through discussion. |
Assessment | Assignments and quizzes totalling 1000 words, and a 2-hour examination, and a 20-minute oral/aural perception test for 2nd and 3rd-year. Assignments and quizzes totalling 1000 words, and a 2-hour examination, and a 20-minute oral/aural perception test, and a translation exercise of 1000 words for 4th-year. Students are required to attend a minimum of 70% of all classes in order to be eligible to take examinations. |
