Japanese 2A-Core and Japanese 2A-IT, or equivalent. Students must be concurrently enrolled in Japanese 2B-IT.

Four hours of language classes per week

Subject Description

A further study in spoken and written Japanese; oral work will be incorporated in classroom activities. Students will be exposed to more rigorous studies to expand reading and writing skills. They will be expected to learn an additional 87 Chinese characters.

Assessment

Assignments and quizzes totalling 1000 words, and a 2-hour examination, and a 20-minute oral test. Students are required to attend a minimum of 70% of all classes in order to be eligible to take examinations.
