Japanese 1B-Core and Japanese 1B-IT, or equivalent. Students must be concurrently enrolled in Japanese 2A-IT.

Four hours of language classes per week

Subject Description

A further study in spoken and written Japanese; oral work will be incorporated in classroom activities. Students will be expected to learn 75 new Chinese characters.

Assessment

Assignments and quizzes totalling 1000 words, and a 2-hour examination, and a 20-minute oral test. Students are required to attend a minimum of 70% of all classes in order to be eligible to take examinations.
