Subject Description

The student selects a topic in Indonesian language, literature, society or another appropriate topic in Indonesian/Malaysian studies in consultation with the coordinator. The student will acquire a specialist understanding of the subject being studied and will learn to conduct independent research using Indonesian (or Malay/Malaysian) language sources for purposes of research.

Assessment

A thesis of 10,000 words (in Indonesian) or 12,000 words (in English) due in the third week of September, and a 30-minute seminar presentation.
