No knowledge of Indonesian is assumed at the beginning of this subject. Students must be concurrently enrolled in Indonesian Conversation A.

Subject Description

An intensive subject developing the ability to speak, read and write Indonesian. Students will learn basic vocabulary and sentence patterns enabling them to communicate at a very simple level and will have acquired basic knowledge about the Indonesian society and culture.

Assessment

Written and aural/oral work equivalent to 2000 words, and a 2-hour examination.
