A 1-hour language laboratory and a 1-hour tutorial per week

Subject Description

A course in the phonetics and romanisation of Standard Chinese for students who speak a Chinese dialect. All students enrolling in Chinese for the first time (whether Standard 2A, 3A or 4A) must do this subject.

Assessment

A 10-minute oral examination, and a 20-minute aural examination, and homework totalling 500 words.
