Subject Description

This introductory subject examines the major achievements of Chinese civilisation. Students will become familiar with Confucianism and other Chinese world views. They will gain a foundation for further study of Chinese society and culture and will gain specific China related skills in the writing of essays and book reviews.

Assessment

Tutorial participation, and written work totalling 4000 words.
