Subject Description

Advanced modern literary texts including the study of contemporary Hebrew writers in prose and poetry, modern conversational idiom and newspaper and academic articles. Students on completion of the subject should have acquired a knowledge of advanced literary texts in Hebrew. Students' reading skills and understanding of advanced scientific and academic articles and essays are further developed to enrich their knowledge of the modern idiom written and spoken in Israel today.

Assessment

Written work totalling 2000 words for 3rd-year 3000 words for 4th-year, and a 2-hour examination.
