Subject Description

Detailed study of a selection of Egyptian archaeological sites. The sites will be selected either for their relevance to the study of broad issues relating to the culture of ancient Egypt or for the methodological issues raised by their exploration.

Assessment

Written work totalling 2000 words, and a 2-hour examination.
