Subject Description

Students study exhibitionary and cinematic works which address the subject of racial and cultural difference. Through the study of postcolonial theory and criticism and the workshopping of film sequences they are furnished with a method for critically analysing and interpreting the visual cultures that have helped to both sustain and resist Euro-American imperialisms.

Assessment

Written work totalling 5000 words.
