 10. Unsatisfactory Progress

A student who fails one or more subjects or who is absent from examinations without a reasonable excuse will be considered for unsatisfactory progress following the publication of official results in November. Students are invited to present personal and/or written submissions at a meeting of the Unsatisfactory Progress Committee.

After consideration of the circumstances a student may be granted a Faculty Pass, or be admitted to a supplementary examination(s), or be permitted to repeat the year, or be recommended for suspension from the course. Details of the guidelines applicable to unsatisfactory progress will be available before the commencement of the academic year.
