The Faculty of Arts offers interdepartmental programs in Ancient Studies and Medieval Studies housed in the Department of History. The programs offer students a means of developing or extending an interest in Ancient History, Archaeology, Philosophy, and other Classical Studies subjects, as well as the European Middle Ages. Drawing upon subjects offered by individual departments, the programs offer coursework in Latin and Ancient Greek and other appropriate languages, and add other departmental offerings in English, Art History, Classics and Archaeology, History, Music and Philosophy, as well as providing an interdepartmental seminar for fourth year Honours students.
