Subject Description

This subject continues to emphasise the acquisition of Spanish through a communicative approach to language learning but on a more advanced level than Spanish 1B-1. Throughout the semester, cultural aspects of the Hispanic world are incorporated into the language classes.

Assessment

End of semester 1.5-hour written test; course work consisting of tests and written exercises; and oral work (reading performance and comprehension; oral summaries of written and audiovisual materials; production and presentation of role play dialogues; general conversation; transcription exercises; pronunciation exercises).
