Subject Description

This subject is designed to enable the student:

  • apply engineering and scientific principles to the practice of resource management;
  • plan engineering projects for Natural Resource Management;
  • explain and utilise the operation of modern equipment used in natural resource management, including surveying and mapping equipment.

The content includes: This subject will be taught with a strong technical and practical emphasis. It will be designed so that students get hands-on experience with the use of equipment that they will come into contact with outside the College.

Practical tasks (100%).
