Subject Description | The objective of this subject is to introduce students to:
The content includes: Introduction to computer systems and their role and applications, computer hardware and the components of a computer system, data communications, security, accuracy and privacy, business applications of computers, word processing using MS-Word 6, presentation graphics using Harvard Graphics or Power Point. |
Assessment | Two hour examination (70%); assignments (30% each). |
