A 45-minute individual lesson each week; a weekly 1.5 hour Concert Class; other classes as arranged

Objectives

On completion of this subject students should have developed further the technical skills achieved at the level of Practical Study 3.

Content

Continued development of practical skills from Practical Study 3.

Assessment

(a) a 30-minute practical examination; the program may include up to five minutes of orchestral excerpts; (b) before proceeding to (a) students must have completed satisfactory participation in Concert Class.
