Subject Description

Students will develop advanced knowledge and skills pertaining to musicological methods and contemporary research practices. Areas covered will include: development of skills and techniques of musicological research including editing, archival research, analysis, bibliography and data management using traditional methods and electronic resources.

Assessment

Three assignments of up to 1,500 words or equivalent (90%); attendance and participation in class (10%).
