Subject Description

The subject will cover a selection from the following topics: basic concepts of acoustics; the study of sound waves, vibration and resonance; loudness; the harmonic series; musical intervals; scales, tuning and temperaments; construction and classification of musical instruments; concert hall and auditorium design.

3-hour examination (100%)
