Subject Description

Air, water, land and vegetation as environmental resources. Causes and effects of pollution in the terrestrial, marine and freshwater environments. Noise and loss of visual amenity. Health effects of pollutants. The control of pollution.

Assessment

Written assignments totalling not more than 4000 words and one 2-hour examination.
