Subject Description | Overview of cost management issues, preliminary techniques of cost planning and cost budgeting. Understanding of the Australian Standard Methods of Measurement including measurement techniques for bills of quantity preparation, tendering and bidding practice. Introductory approaches to construction cost control. |
Assessment | One three-hour examination (50%). Tutorial exercises and staged assignment equivalent to not more than 5000 words (50%). |
