Two one-hour lectures and up to three hours of tutorials and seminars per week

Subject Description

Concept of real property and improvements to and on land. A broad overview of property markets and sub-markets. Introduction to investment and yield. Basic financial mathematics; the six functions; discounted cash flow. An introduction to the principles of valuation and appraisal.

Assessment

One three-hour examination (50%). Assignments totalling no more than 5000 words (50%).
