Subject Description

The principal objectives are to provide students with opportunities to (i) acquire knowledge of at least one foundational area of psychological enquiry, (ii) acquire knowledge of at least one applied area of psychological enquiry, (iii) acquire skills for applying theoretical knowledge to psychological research, and (iv) demonstrate psychological knowledge and skills through written and oral expression. The subject consists of three sections chosen from a range offered by the Department or approved sections offered by other departments.

Assessment

For each section a written examination of up to 2 hours, or a laboratory report or an essay of up to 3,000 words, or an exam of up to one hour and a report or essay of up to 2,000 words. (Assessment for approved sections taken in other departments will be determined by that department).

All the pass criterion must be satisfied in order to gain a pass in Psychology 3C. Please refer to pass criteria details located under the 512-301 Psychology 3A entry.
