Subject Description | The principal objectives are to provide students with opportunities to (i) acquire knowledge of at least five foundational areas of psychological enquiry, (ii) acquire knowledge of at least one applied area of psychological enquiry, (iii) acquire skills for applying theoretical knowledge to psychological research, and (iv) demonstrate psychological knowledge and skills through written and oral expression. The subject consists of six sections chosen from a range offered by the Department or approved sections offered by other departments. |
Assessment | For each section a written examination of up to two hours or a laboratory report or essay of up to 3,000 words, or an examination of up to one hour and a report or essay of up to 2,000 words. (Assessment for approved sections taken in other departments will be determined by that department). All the pass criterion must be satisfied in order to gain a pass in Psychology 3B. Please refer to pass criteria details located under the 512-301 Psychology 3A entry. |
