Subject Description | Topics will include exercise physiology; skill acquisition; biomechanical analysis; safety in outdoor activities and expeditioning; approaches to health promotion and disease prevention in Australia; selected issues in teaching physical education and health e.g. competition, gender, teaching styles, evaluation. Planning and evaluating a unit of work. |
Assessment | One 3-hour examination; assigned written work totalling no more than 3000 words. |
