A 2-hour seminar and a 2-hour lecture for nine weeks or equivalent

Subject Description

An examination of the management of human resources within an organisation from the view of satisfying organisational and personal needs. Topics include: the function of the Human Resources Management department; the acquisition, development, motivation and maintenance of human resources; environmental and legal issues.

Assessment

Field/case studies totalling up to 5000 words; a 2-hour examination. Students must perform satisfactorily in each area of assessment and submit all assignment work.
