Subject Description

A study of primary school curriculum emphasising children's understanding of the physical and social world. Planning, organisation, teaching, evaluation and reporting strategies at a school and classroom level are considered within an integrated study of the primary school curriculum and teachers' work.

Assessment

Reflective journal and three written assignments totalling 4000 words or equivalent.

Hurdle requirement: Satisfactory completion of a negotiated contract of study, class teaching tasks and presentations.
