40 hours including a minimum of two hours per week for ten weeks in an approved workplace setting

Subject Description

An introduction to the teaching of safe operation of hand tools, materials and processes in technology; management and maintenance of hand tools and basic equipment in a workshop environment; teaching and learning strategies appropriate to a workshop environment; designing and implementing programs in the workplace.

Assessment

A portfolio of work and a report totalling to 4000 words.
