Subject Description

A study of the nature of work, and the evolution of the labour market in the light of technological change, including various conceptualisations of such change and of their socio-cultural implications. Particular attention will be given to contested purposes in learning at and through work, and to the place of education in general.

Assessment

Essays, assignments and/or reports totalling 4000 words.
