Subject Description

An introduction to the study of teaching: safe operation of various power tools and static machinery; materials and their respective machining processes; advanced procedures for marking-out, cutting, forming, joining and finishing of a range of materials using appropriate aids, jigs and equipment; management and maintenance of power tools and static machinery; designing, implementing and evaluating programs in the workplace.

Assessment

A portfolio of work and a report totalling 4000 words.
