Subject Description | An introductory survey of some of the contributions of different disciplines, e. g., sociology, history and psychology, to the study of organisations and administration; the three main theoretical perspectives (structural, humanistic and technological) will be considered and the relationship of organisations to the environment in which they are set will be emphasised. |
Assessment | Two essays of approximately 2500 words or equivalent tasks. |
