Subject Description | An introduction to developmentally-based curriculum for children 0-3 years examining approaches to formulating, implementing and evaluating programs for infants and toddlers. Students will demonstrate this understanding in planning, implementing and evaluating a program in a practical setting for children 0-3 years. Examination of young children's understanding in mathematics and science and curriculum frameworks, and strategies for planning learning experiences in these subject areas. |
Assessment | Curriculum task related to children 0-3 years and satisfactory completion and assessment of 24 days Practicum as specified in the Practicum Handbook. Curriculum projects related to mathematics and science for young children. |
