Subject Description

This subject provides a survey of the major approaches to research in the Early Childhood filed. The research process is examined, looking at framing research questions, choosing an appropriate methodology, undertaking a literature review, collecting, analysing and interpreting data, and writing up a research report. Students will work independently under a supervisor.

Assessment

A research project report of 8000 words, or equivalent.
