Subject Description | The objective of this subject is for students to have knowledge of computational approaches and methods for robotics, graphics and related areas. Topics covered will include: 2D and 3D analytic geometry for graphics, representation of 3D objects, computational techniques for realistic graphic rendering, robot configuration and kinematics, and associated numerical methods. |
Assessment | Up to three-hours of written examinations at the end of the subject. Project work, which is expected to take about 36 hours, must be completed satisfactorily to pass the subject. Weighting of assessment components will be made known at the commencement of the subject |
