Subject Description | The objective of this unit is to provide an appreciation of the management of safety and the environmental and of the character of technology and best engineering practice: Technical Safety. Hazard identification and Hazard and Operability Studies. Risk assessment. Hazard management. The character of technology. Inventions, innovations and research and development. Technology associated with new products, new processes and process improvements. Mission statements. Teamwork, human resources and industrial relations. Bench-marking. Key performance indicators. Management to comply with environmental legislation, environmental audits, environmental impact assessments. Waste minimization. |
