Subject Description | This subject will expand students' knowledge of major theories in areas of Organisational Behaviour by examining the empirical foundations of these theories, as well as more current research in these areas. Topics covered in the subject will include occupational stress, motivation, alternative dispute resolution, organisational communication, change management and leadership. Each topic area will be considered in terms of its relevance to the workplace, particularly how it may be used to deal with organisational behaviour problems. |
Assessment | One 3-hour end-of-semester examination (60%); written assignments and seminar presentations together not exceeding 3000 words (40%). |
