Two 1-hour lectures and one 1-hour tutorial per week

Subject Description

The role of operations; the link between strategy and operations; productivity; decisions in the operations area; planning and control of inventory, projects and the transformation process including Total Quality Management, Just-In-Time systems, kanban and 'lean production' systems.

Assessment

A 2-hour end-of-semester examination (70%), and assignments totalling 2000 words (30%).
