Subject Description | The economics of government budgets and budgetary policy; public finance in relation to income distribution, stability, resource allocation and growth; government revenue and the theory of taxation; taxation reform; the national debt; government expenditure; problems of federal finance. |
Assessment | A 2-hour examination (80%) and class assignments totalling approximately 2000 words (20%). |
