Subject Description | The subject will cover (in mathematical terms) many of the areas treated more intuitively in introductory courses in macroeconomics and microeconomics e. g. macroeconomic dynamics, consumer demand, the theory of the firm, and imperfect competition and introduce mathematical techniques used in advanced subjects in economics. |
Assessment | A 2-hour end-of-semester examination (80%); and tutorial exercises of up to 30 pages in total (20%). |
