Subject Description

General histology; general embryology; introduction to neurology; musculo-skeletal system; integument; cardiovascular and lymph-vascular system; endocrine glands, urinary, respiratory and digestive systems; blood and haemopoietic tissues.

Assessment

A 3-hour written examination on the first half of the syllabus (mid-year) and a 3-hour written examination on the second half of the syllabus (end-of-year). Practical work is assessed throughout the year and will include a project report, either oral or written or both (not more than 2,000 words). A 90-minute practical examination covering all the practical work during the year (end-of-year).
